Let your light shine before men in such a way that they may see your good works and glorify your Father who is in heaven.  Matthew 5:16

Just north of my home is a cave called Mammoth Cave. When I was young and touring that cave, the tour guide brought us to a large opening and told us to stand very still for just a few minutes. They turned off the lights in the cave and I experienced true darkness. It was so dark that I could hold up my hand, just two inches from my face, but was unable to see it. I can remember it to this day.  The tour guide then turned on a very small flashlight and you could see all around very clearly. You could see all the people on the tour, the surrounding walls of the cave. It was quite remarkable to see everything so clearly with only a single light.

There are many people in this world experiencing that kind of darkness in their life.  Death, sickness, abandonment and hopelessness are all around us every minute of every day.  People who don't know where to turn for help.  They are groping around the darkness of life trying to find their way and all they need is just a little light to brighten up their life.

We are to be that light!

I hope I can be that light for you. In turn, you can be that light for someone else.

I don't know where you are in life or what you believe spiritually.  You may already be a follower of Christ or you may believe there is no God or somewhere in between.  You may be struggling with depression, spirituality or something else. It is my goal to help you know that life can be better.  Most people are not sure how that can happen.
